Jazz Band

Jazz Band 2025-26 is an auditioned ensemble aiming to put roughly 1 (occasionally 2) players per part. It meets every day before school during zero period (7:30-8:20 am). Auditions are held the second week of school and the roster is announced shortly after. Current class schedule is:

Monday: Everyone in B103
Tuesday: Winds only sectionals, meeting first in B103
Wednesday: Everyone in B103
Thursday: Rhythm section only (Bass, Piano, Drums, Guitar, Vibes)
Friday: Everyone in B103

Jazz Band Audition packet

Jazz Band auditions are required for all members seeking to join the 2026-2027
RHS Jazz Band. In the case of rhythm section (piano, guitar, bass, drums),
auditions are jointly taken for membership in both the RHS Jazz Band and Vocal
